What Customers Say About SanDisk SDCFB-1024-A10 1GB CF Type 1 Card (Retail Package):

Yes, according to Roland tech support. Well, I've ordered a total of 11 of these cards and they all work with my recorder. I received a card labeled "Ultra II" whose model number is SDCFH. I could not find any further info, so I clicked over to HiTechVendors.com (a sponsored link) and ordered 10 cards at $14 each. The new cards do not match the model number either. Prices fluctuate by 600 percent in less than a week.

(The card must also be Type 1, which refers to its physical thickness. None match the model I ordered. Just one. None give the speed (unless you count "Ultra II"). Inexplicably, the headline price (this time from BlueProton) had jumped from about $14 to $89.95. (I've tested all ten). Reviews claim compatibility, but it's not compatible any more).

(Remember the 45X limitation). Well, I did receive compatible cards, so the best I can say is that "SanDisk SDCFB-1024-A10" is a magic incantation with a non-zero chance of conjuring 1GB compact flash cards that work with the BR-600. Well, be aware that some manufacturers change the card speed without changing the model number, rendering Roland's list of compatible cards obsolete. How many cards would I get for this price. Vendors don't ship the model you order. Are model numbers completely meaningless. So.two orders of the SDCFB-1024-A10 from two different vendors. What about my experience.

And yes, they also work with my recorder. (I had this experience with a Delkin model that increased the speed from 45X to 55X. Well, the card actually worked, so I came back to Amazon to order more. It needs to fit in the slot). Not confused yet. For example, Roland's BR-600 digital recorder is limited to 1GB capacity and will not work with a card whose speed is more than 45X. Two different card models received (SDCFH and SDCFJ).

No, according to at least one reviewer. They at least look like the online photo; there is no "Ultra II" label. SanDisk leaves the full model number off the product. Some manufacturers keep the model number but change the specs. I'm coming to the conclusion that the compact flash industry is in a state of barely controlled chaos. Is the SanDisk SDCFB-1024-A10 card compatible with the BR-600. But I did not receive the model I ordered. Here's my story: Based on Roland's recommendation, I ordered a single SanDisk SDCFB-1024-A10 card via Amazon (the card was shipped and sold by CablesOnline).

These are marked SDCFJ. The good news: all the cards work. Ultra II is a high speed designation so I had my doubts that it would work. Compatible compact flash cards can be hard to find if you use them in a device that has limitations of speed or capacity. That's it, just five letters that do not match the model I ordered. None give a full model number.

I won't even ship them back or ask for my money back, because shipping alone will make this a "NOT WORTH IT" situation. I thought I was getting a steal when I ordered these, but now, I was the one robbed. And back to looking for a compatable Memory for my BR-600 I Purchased two of these. VERY VERY disapointed when my BR-600 indicated the memory card is not compatable. So I'm out [.].

Order arrived sooner than estimated and in excellent condition. I would purchase from them again.

The transcend cards have changed and no longer work with it. This is one of the few cards that actually work with the boss BR-600 multitrack recorder. this thing was under 10 bucks when I bought it 4 months ago.

I had two older cards a Kingston and a Crucial and after several years I cannot trust them as I have lost pictures etc. These pix print out in photo store quality so I see no need to set at a higher resolution. For the price I have a couple on hand just in case. So far this has been a good purchase. Especially for around 20 bucks. On the fine setting on my Minolta and image size at 1600x1200, I am getting over 800 pictures. I thought these cards would last indefinitely but, guess I was wrong.
